The theme song to "Curb Your Enthuiasm ". I don’t watch the show but I hear the music during commercials for it on HBO. Where have I heard that tune before? I’m not 100% but I believe it’s “Frolic,” by Italian composer Luciano Michelini. I’ve heard that tune, or something very similar to it somewhere else, but where?

Yeah, but where else have I heard this tune before? I keep thinking it was a movie in the 70’s. Or am I thinking of a different (but similar) song?
I read somewhere that Larry David heard the music on a commercial for a local bank and chose it for the Curb theme.
The song Frolic had the exact same melody in a 1960 movie called “Eyes Without a Face” and was composed by Maurice Jarre. I don’t know why after all these years Luciano Michelini is still getting credit for it. If someone can prove differently, please let me know.
