Having just watched X-men 2 - the desire to obtain high quality pictures, via the internet, of Anna Paquin, and Kelly Hu (preferably x-men/x-men 2 pictures) is quite high.
A couple of years ago, the chances of finding high quality pictures of even semi famous people was quite high. You’d most likely find them on one or more fansites, created by mere enthusiasts, dedicated completely to one particular celeb.
Now all I can bloody find is the same few websites that cater for all celebs, with a few measly links to small pictures for each celeb. As hard as I try I can’t find the dedicated websites with huge, bigger-than-my-screen-resolution pictures. What happened?
There’s nothing like repeating phrases (‘quite high’) to ruin the intelectual credibility of a post.
It takes just one small glass of whiskey to turn off the phrase-thesaurus in my brain.
Most of the free hosting sites have bandwidth restrictions, yes? I figure that the free hosters got tired of their pages being shut down by people searching for pics, whilst the ones who pay for hosting got tired of paying for bandwidth. In either case, I don’t think many people have come up with a revenue model that pays for that bandwidth, their time and the copyright fees that they were undoubtedly paying to the legal owners of all those pictures.
Sure you haven’t just changed your screen resolution?

I’ve noticed the same thing… that is annoying. And Google Images leaves a bit to be desired.
