Where have my folder names gone?

All the folder names in “My Computer” as well as at the root level in my 3 hard drives have disappeared. They’re still there when I go a directory in but I haven’t intentionally changed any settings and would like to know what the different root directories are before I click on them!

Anyone got any ideas?

D’oh! The most complex seeming problems have the simplest solutions! Turns out I accidentally changed the view type to view as thumbnails. Changing it back to icons fixed it!
