Where is Mario Savio burried?

Where is Mario Savio buried? I’ve searched various websites and haven’t been able to find an answer. Mario Savio was a activist in Berkley during the free speech movement.

Most likely, the family wanted to keep this information private.

It’s possible that he was cremated.

Thanks for bringing this up. I went to my newspaper database and searched, hoping to find anything. Nothing.

But my reward was to read again the stories about his 1964 speech, his life, his death, and things that brought back memories. Good ones.

No results turn up on the Political Graveyard.

Yea thats kinda what gets me. There is NO information. Its true that his family might have wanted everything to be private, however I would think that a man with a history like his would have some sort of mention as to what happened after his death.

So I’m curious, does anyone have any suggestions on where to keep looking?

Except that Mario, himself, was kinda a private person. He had his moment of greatness, but retreated from life after that point. He hated the limelight. It wasn’t out of character to not have any public information about his burial, assuming there was one.

I think there is no solution, unless one could get his wife to comment. And that’s not likely.
