When the current Sin City DVD came out, I recall seeing a good number of magazines telling me to hold off on buying the movie in their video reviews as Robert Rodriguez is a DVD buff and enjoy packing his movie with special features and is bound to release something better than the bare bones feature he has out now. Well, it’s three months later, so where the hell is the special edition DVD already? I’m not seeing any details floating around about one, and I’m really dying to see one of my favorite movies of 2005 again. Is another DVD going to be released? And when? Or should I just go ahead and buy what’s out there now?
I don’t have anything to say about this other than I thought the thread was called Why is my Special Edition Sin City DVD pregnant?!
Maybe the studio suits are holding the special edition hostage until the bare-bones edition sells X many copies.

The Special Edition looks like it’s going to be awesome, too. And it even comes with a copy of the Sin City: The Hard Goodbye trade paperback!
