I suggest you actually do some research on Christianity (and most of the world’s) attitude on children. John Wesley is especially cute when he derides children as natural atheists and suggests starving them until they appreciate g_d. The doting mother is very much an invention of the Romantic Era, reinforced by the Victorians to perpetuate the segregation of middle class women from paying work. Other First Ladies have had children while in their husbands were in White House and they managed to fulfill their duties. Maybe Mrs. Trump du jour is afraid someone in Washington will recognize her from the call girl circuit?

I remember when the Melanie photos came out during the campaign and there was a bit of “slut shaming” going on, there were a lot of liberals in my Facebook feed who were very much against this type of rhetoric towards Melania. While I have no way of knowing if my friends represent a fair cross-section of liberal thought, I would be very much surprised if the vast majority of liberals are okay with Bow Wow’s tweet.
I’m considering writing a condemnation of Trump that ckalli can plagiarize and pass off as his own, if this will move things along.

So here’s the thing:
- Bow Wow made a vile comment implying that he’d force a woman into sexual slavery where she’d be repeatedly raped, as a way of enacting vengeance against a man.
- Planned Parenthood and NARAL focus on protecting reproductive freedom; NARAL more specifically focuses on the right to choose abortion.
- I presume they’d be happy to protect your right to your abortion of an argument, but otherwise they have nothing to do with this issue.
On the one hand that’s really bad. But on the other hand, if he keeps it up, he has a real shot at the Republican nomination in 2020.

Helena didn’t tweet, she posted. You got a very different implication than I got: I inferred she was snarking about Melania Trump’s continued residence in NYC. The first lady has traditionally lived and worked in the White House; Melania’s absence from that place looks like an abdication of that role.
She may have been saying Melania’s not a real lady, but I didn’t read it that way.
You DO realize this ain’t Twitter, right? And there are multiple ways to read the POST (again, not a tweet) and you chose to respond insulting Helena because you felt Melania Trump was insulted on a personal level.
