Video: First Lady Makes Personal Appeal for Obamacare

Just a few of the 400+ comments the mods allowed:

This is some sick shit. And Fox wants to be taken seriously?

A few years ago O’Reilly was complaining about some nasty comments on Huffington Post. This is much, much worse. But where’s the outrage and condemnation from the right?

They vote Republican, you silly. That’s why whatever they say is ok.

“Liberals are just as bad!” in 3…2…1…

Fear not.

I’m sure Starving Artist and the rest of the right-tards who have made a career out of hysterically swooning at the lack of manners of liberals and the disrespecting of Bush will be along to go apoplectic any moment now.

Or to do some vigorous hand-waving. One of the two.

And then Shodan will come along and pretend that a drama that had as a premise the assassination of Bush is the same thing as gleefully inciting it and so cancels out all right-tard sins EVAR.

That’s so strange, to me. Michelle Obama is, I think, one of the prettiest First Ladies we’ve ever had. I mean, I know that they’re saying it because they’re suffering from Obama Derangement Syndrome, but still…

They’re really really REALLY REALLY monumentally stupid.

So are the comments from IMDB threads, YouTube videos, and your local newspaper’s online comments section. Though, come to think of it, the link you’ve provided is somewhat a combination of the last two on my list, which makes it stupidity squared.

Welcome to the internet. I’d start you with a course on Geocities to get acquainted but that’s closed down now.

This is clearly impossible, since no liberal has ever impugned the physical traits of any First Lady, particularly in Internet commentary. As the OP points out, this would be in poor taste.

See, I don’t think they do. Rather, they want to be as profitable a business as they can, and they’ve hit on a very successful formula that in large part includes pandering to right-wing nutjobs.

They’re not being taken seriously all the way to the bank.

I’ve seen worse on the Dem side. Though not on CNN or MSNBC sites. Worse than these asinine coments on the Fox News site was this photo put up on the GOP’s new website.

Granted, it was put up by an anonymous Facebooker but it stayed up on the GOP site for 5 days.

Do you know what this means? It means FOX and the GOP are all for free speech!

News flash: people are assholes on the internet. Film at eleven.

Why do we have to wait until eleven? Couldn’t we see it on YouTube right now?

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again - the GOP has elevated hyprocrisy to previously unimagined heights. These assclowns would take a dump on the American flag while fellating Osama Bin Laden if they thought it would make a point about how evil Obama is.

Michelle Obama is easily the hottest first lady since Jackie Kennedy, but is it really the worstest evil evar that a bunch of losers said she’s ugly, and moderators allowed it?

Not the worstest evil evah, no. (Though the losers are clearly spewing racist nonsense, not just calling her ugly.)

But I think the OP’s point is more about the fact that an ostensibly reputable news organization is appearing to endorse and even encourage such comments.

My take on it is that nothing they do surprises me as long as the cash keeps rolling in.

Somehow the first time I didn’t notice the word ‘evolution,’ which is clearly a code word. The other stuff? I’m not seeing racism. I have an equally visceral reaction to Anne Coulter, who, if I didn’t have all those negative associations, would probably strike me as pretty.

How is this any different from fans of one football team getting themselves all worked up over the ranting of fans on the website of their arch rivals? Conservative/Liberal, Republican/Democrat, Alabama/Auburn, Yankees/Red Sox, Same/Same. There are assholes everywhere.

Seriously, go check that out, and then remember how, when a MoveOn member put up a video comparing Bush to Hitler (a video that was removed in less than an hour, I believe), the right wailed and screamed about the awfulness of the left. It’s still brought up to this day!

The implication pretty clearly is that black folk are lower on the evolutionary scale than white folk. But, of course, the reality is pretty upsetting to these racists: people with brown skins, living in the White House, and running the country.

But I thought these folks didn’t believe in evolution.

Well, not their own.

Well, Dems would too if the situation were reversed. I think they’re all a bunch of fuckheads.
