Where is this [location shown in the movie Homegrown]?

I went to high school in Point Arena and Got married at Victorian Gardens. I remember watching the movie in High School and thinking how cool it was to be filmed so close to home. There was another scene in the movie that I have a hard time placing tho, gonna have to rewatch the movie.

It still exists. Paulene and Luchiano Zamboni opened a dinner and bed (as opposed to a bed and breakfast)here 30+ years ago and operated it until his death sometime around 2005. She still lives there. if you try and visit please don’t trespass, her phone number is listed online.

I’ve been through the town a number of times, though I have to admit I don’t recall it specifically. We’ve always gone on to Mendocino or Fort Bragg. I should make the trip again; Hwy 1 never gets old. I’m a Northern California native.

Also, welcome to the board and thank you for the accurate answer to the question. 5 years late is not too bad  .

You cant see it from the Highway, its up a short driveway behind big wooden gates: that my dad built.

When you live out there HWY 1 gets old… I did it every weekend for my first two years at the junior college to make money selling firewood. it gets old…real quick…

I know that Rd. It’s the one that goes through Hendy woods State Park … My first experience in :gorilla: growing when I moved to NorCal in 2000 was on that creek… LOL It comes out by Manchester and Elk it’s Philo Greenwood Rd…6471 CA-1
