I had a neat little program that was in my startup that showed a calendar with boxes for each date and reminders I had posted to myself. You could do it by a single event, weekly, monthly, or for a couple of years ahead. It was called Reminder V5. I thought I got it on ZDNet, but I went there and all they have is Reminder 3.3 and it doesn’t have a calendar, just a daily reminder. Has anyone seen this little gem and do you know where I can find it. I had to uninstall my other one because for some reason the data base got corrupted and it wouldn’t load.
It seems to be here, but I haven’t tried to download it so I’m not sure. The main Reminder V5 site has closed down; whether the utility still exists is yet to be seen.
Thanks alonicist. Yes that seems to be the right program. I downloaded it but I still got the same message as on the one I uninstalled: “Database failure. Reminder is unable to load its database.” I don’t know what the problem is. So, I found another calendar program. It isn’t as good, but oh well. It just shows what you have to do today. Reminder V5 used to bring up the whole month, and you could say to yourself “oh yeh, I have to remember to get the oil changed next friday.” Creatures of habit we are.
