Where the hell is Matt? 2008

You’ve probably all seen the earlier Where The Hell Is Matt videos on YouTube where Matt does his silly dance in locations around the world. Somehow despite it’s brevity and simplicity, it makes me smile every time I watch it.

He had done at least two videos since 2005, and he’s just come out with a new one, with more countries, and more participants.

I love it!

I love the new one too.

People all over the world getting together to have fun dancing like idiots. It makes me smile.

Nice, I love these for some reason.

I liked the music and my wife pointed out the lyrics are a poem in Bengli by Rabindranath Tagore

Stream of Life

The same stream of life that runs through my veins night and day
runs through the world and dances in rhythmic measures.

It is the same life that shoots in joy through the dust of the earth
in numberless blades of grass
and breaks into tumultuous waves of leaves and flowers.

It is the same life that is rocked in the ocean-cradle of birth
and of death, in ebb and in flow.

I feel my limbs are made glorious by the touch of this world of life.
And my pride is from the life-throb of ages dancing in my blood this moment.

That one really brought a smile to my face! His dancing’s improved since his first video, too.

He’s put the video of one of his lectures up on YouTube too. The lecture is pretty interesting.

Part 2

Part 3

It’s a little over an hour in total, but imo it’s well worth watching.
