Where To Find Punch/Diecutter For Medium-Thick (~1-2mm) Cardboard?

Maybe this should go in GQ, but it’s mostly a personal request to tap the SDMB Mass Mind.

I’m looking for a tool to cut or punch small (15-30mm) circles/squares/hexes from chipboard. So far, most of what I’ve found is either light-duty punches that will handle paper, but nothing heavier.

These are the tools I use at work, they may be more than you are willing to spend.

Punches and one of these.

I die-cut rubber parts for automotive, we adapt these punches from the cardboard cutting industry.

The punches usually run $4-$5 for a straight wall punch if you order ten at a time. They may sell for less.

Thanks – the cost isn’t prohibitive (but I’ll want to do a little research first), though the shipping might be pretty steep for such a weighty device.

I just talked to one of the maintenance guys and they have used a toggle clamp mounted vertically with the punch fixtured to the bottom.

Lot cheaper. It should do the trick too.
