Where was Gerald Ford during President Bush's inauguration?

I searched the board and didn’t find this question anywhere. I myself have been forgetting to ask it. Did anyone hear where Gerald Ford was on January 20?

Carter, Bush, and Clinton were all there. Is he still suffering from after-effects of his strokes? I didn’t hear any mention of it on the television networks either. Just curious.

I think it’s a logical assumption that President Ford was not feeling well enough to make the trip out for the inauguration. Especially with the poor weather, he probably was better off staying at home.
