ETA: I would guess that gravity will assume her role as a harsh mistress.
Someone asked that answer on the linked page. The answer was simple - the mount would simply jump, together with the TV, forward in time to when the power is restored.

I didn’t see the specs on the optional add-on (girl.) I want that almost as much as the TV mount.
