Where you live, and for whom you're voting (The Canadian Edition)

Oh, he does his best to inflame racial tensions between whites and natives. Here is a fairly typical press release for him. I’ll quote a couple good bits:

He’s not particularly shy about distorting things, obviously. Tax-exempt status and special fishing and hunting priveleges are treaty obligations. I suppose the government could renege on them in the interests of “equality”, though to be consistent I’d think we should then give all the land back. He goes on to describe various affirmative action-type polices as constituting “neo-apartheid”.

He also thinks that bilingual hiring policies for civil servants are racist (biased against anglophones, don’t you know), and that the Notwithstanding Clause should be invoked to override court decisions in favour of same sex marriage.

Mississauga - and I’m still undecided, but leaning towards NDP.

As a side note, I think ** Sunspace** is planning a Toronto area dopefest after the election? Is that right?

Winnipeg - St Boniface

Conservative

Yep, TronnaDope in late June/early July. Time to bump the planning thread. When I find it again.

Here are the standings so far.I counted people who said they were ‘leaning’ or ‘probably’ going to vote for a party as voting for that party, even if they said they were undecided.

Liberal: 2
Conservatives: 9
NDP: 13
Bloc: 0
Green: 2

…and wouldn’t THAT be an interesting parliament!
