Reruns of all the Star Trek series seem to be on the schedules of some basic cable network. But why don’t I see DS9 anywhere? I didn’t follow the series very closely when it was on and I’m wanting to catch up.
I’m not sure if it’s still in syndication somewhere, but TNN will have it later this year, I believe.
It’s only in local syndication currently. Unfortunately, TNN will not start showing DS9 until 2004. Maybe you can start a letter writing campaign amongst your friends to get one of your local stations to pick it up in the meantime.
Gee, I was all prepared to say “near the Bajoran wormhole”.
If you were Canadian, you could watch it daily on the Space channel, along with the other three shows, plus Enterprise on Sundays.
DS9 and Enterprise are the only Star Trek shows I get, and DS9 is on at 3 AM on the weekends. I wish I had standard cable instead of basic, but then we couldnt afford road Runner. I would rather have no cable tv than use dialup again.
DS9 is in local reruns, will be on TNN next year or in 2004. Rumored to be heading for DVD next year. Can’t wait for that.
It’s near the Bajoran worm— oh. Bryan beat me to it.
Damn youse, Ekers! Damn youse to hell!
Go to http://www.startrek.com and look for the “Where to Watch” section. It has a searchable map that’ll give the broadcast date and time for all your favorite Trek series.
Now, can someone explain why my local FOX affiliate is showing DS9 at 4 a.m.!
Death to DS9!
I’m sorry, did I mention I hated everything after TNG?
I got bored about the time they started introducing the Dominion.
Deep Space Nine?
Go out aways in the delta quadrant to Deep Space Eight, then just go a little farther.
DSN is better than Voyager, worse than TNG, IMHO. I haven’t seen enough Enterprise to make a decision yet.
DS9 rulez, that’s MY trek show! Parents hadn’t graduated high school when TOS was on, TNG showed up when i was nine, but high school and college was all DS9! Too bad Voyager decided to stay out in the sun too long and go bad, i could have been awe inspiring.
DS9 kicks ass. Each season was better than the one that preceded it, and from the fourth season on it was better than anything they ever did on TNG. TNG started crappy, got worse its second season, was good in three, four and five, and then collapsed in its sixth season to end with the turd of a sevent season. DS9 kept building its storyline and momentum. It had real character growth, continuing plots, real romantic storylines, and the best villains of any of the series.
Voyager was crap from the word “go,” and never changed. Never better, never worse. Stagnant all the way through to its pitiful finale.
Enterprise is okay, but nothing spectacular. It doesn’t inspire me at all. I’ll watch next season. But frankly, if I were never to see another episode of it, that wouldn’t upset me too much.
I love all of the series, except for TOS. I like TOS, but can only handle it in small doses, whereas I can watch any of the other series all day, back to back.
Deep Space 9 is probably my favorite ST series. I would love to see it in syndication because I missed a number of episodes around the 3rd and 4th seasons.
But, even 3 years later, I’m still quite upset with its ending. Rather than rerant here, I shall make an obvious attention whore link to a previous thread I started awhile back on that subject:

That’s not saying much. Watching old people having sex is better than Voyager.
I think enterprise is so far the best series. If you are a star fleet history buff.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! ::wipes tears from his eyes::
Good one, BeatenMan.
Enterprise may be good, but Berman and Bragga have no clue what they ate for lunch yesterday. You think they at all care about accurately representing Starfleet history or Roddenberry’s vision?
DS9? Oh yeah, that show that tried to be Babylon 5…I remember that…
