"Where's George?" for books?

As some of you may know, Where’s George? is a system where users mark bills and then track the voyage of the dollars online. I remember hearing a year or so ago about a similar program for books. One can paste in a label in a book then leave it in a public place (such as an airport) for another person to find and use. The book’s progress from person to person can be followed online. I always thought this sounded really fun, and as I’ll be flying to Ireland this weekend, I thought it would be neat to give it a shot. It would also help me get rid of three or four books I have lying around that I didn’t include in my last book donation.

Does anyone know what I’m talking about? Help would be very much appreciated.

Take a look at BookCrossing.com.

Awesome! As soon as I saw the webpage I recognized it. Thank you so much. Now I must try this.
