Where's the one place all of us have been?

I can match:

Pearson, Dorval, Heathrow, Schiphol and LAX for airports (also Charles de Gaulle, if anyone else has mentioned it)
Disneyland
Eiffel Tower
Louvre
Trafalgar Square
Spanish Steps

Don’t know if anyone’s mentioned the Space Needle for Seattle

Airports: O’Hare, Heathrow, JFK, Paris, Frankfurt, Tokyo (Narita), Hong Kong (Kai Tak), Dubai, San Francisco

The Pacific Ocean, The Atlantic Ocean, The Indian Ocean

Eiffel Tower, Golden Gate Bridge, Las Vegas, The Central Market in Nukus, Uzbekistan :slight_smile:

Vacation Spots:

Disneyland (just last week!)
Walt Disney World
Great Smoky Mountains National Park
Yellowstone National Park
Mount Rushmore
Niagara Falls (both sides)

Wall Drug
Key West
St. Louis Arch
Sears Tower
Daytona Beach
Las Vegas - Hoover Dam & most casinos

Fisherman`s Warf, San Fran., Ca.

The Mall of America, Minnesota

Since several of you have mentioned the Mall in D.C., can we get more specific? How about the Air and Space Museum – on the second floor near The Spirit of St. Louis?

A few from my list:

Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen

The Anne Frank House in Amsterdam (Secret Annex)

The elevators at The Holocaust Museum in D.C.

The train station in Vienna

BTW, Vanilla that is without a doubt the tackiest shower curtain I have ever seen! Umbrella themes in a bathroom make me uncomfortable.

Gatlinburg Tennessee
Yellowstone National Park
Mount Rushmore
Yosemite National Park
Fishermans Wharf, San Fransisco

I’ve been to many of these places, but probably my strangest match is with No Clue Boy at the Sirloin Stockade in Sioux City, Iowa.

May I also submit:

Las Vegas, NV
Gatlinburg, TN
Carlsbad Caverns
Six Flags over Texas
Great Pyramids in Giza, Egypt
Narita Airport in Tokyo, Japan
The House on the Rock in Spring Green, WI
Jackson Hole, WY
Avenue of the Giants (redwoods) in northern CA
I’ve also swum in the Pacific and Atlantic oceans, and the Gulf of Mexico.

Where’s this now?

OK, I can’t keep track of who’s been where. Here’s where I’ve been - if you see me in any of these places, wave to me.

Chicago, Illinois (just about everywhere) and several of its suburbs
Great Smokey Mountains National Park
Gatlinburg, TN (specifically, Arrowmont School of Arts)
Memphis, TN and Southhaven, MS
St. Louis, MO
Kansas City, MO
Wisconsin Dells, Racine Zoo, Lake Geneva, Bristol Ren Faire
New York City and Poughkeepsie NJ
Indianapolis 500
Sawyer and Union, MI
Seattle, WA and Ravensdale, WA
Florida - Disney World & Sea World
Nashville & Hendersonville, TN
Cincinatti, OH (or maybe it’s Cincinnati, I forget)
Minneapolis, MN

Airports: O’Hare, Midway, Atlanta, St. Louis, Sea-Tac, JFK

Whoops, forgot an airport: Knoxville, TN (it’s an easy one to miss.)

So far I only match Buffalo, NY and the Niagara Falls complex- both sides, Goat Island, and the Maid of the Mist and Cave of the Winds tours. But then, I grew up half an hour from there and don’t get out much. If you want to go with interstate highways, I’ve been on more of them. I-65, I-75, I-95, I-81, I-90, for sure. I’d have to look at a map to confirm others. I guess I always move between places devoid of any attraction whatsoever and have never left the U.S. except to go to Canada.

On preview, been to Nashville, too. Also, the Gulf of Mexico, Biloxi-Gulfport, MS.

I bet we’ve all been to McDonalds (sad though that bet is)

Since the US seems to be the connecting factor here, I can’t offer ten places:

Mann’s Chinese Theatre, LA;
That big tall building in Chicago (the second tallest one, with the shops at the bottom, I think it was);
LAX;
O’Hare (what a dump!).

Er, sorry. That’s it.

I can match:

The Spanish Steps;
The Louvre;
The Eiffel Tower;
Schiphol Airport;
and The Anne Frank House.

In North America, I’ll add the airports in Houston and Minneapolis, the Metrodome, and the West Edmonton Mall.

In Europe, I’ll suggest the Paris Nord train station, the Rialto in Venice, and the museum in Florence that houses Michaelangelo’s David.

Horseflesh, I think ours is the first exact match other than the observation deck WTC which several of us seem to share.

btw, Houston has two airports. Houston Hobby and Houston Intercontinental.

And Ellington AFB.

Now there’s a thought. Air Force, Navy, Army, etc… bases.

I’ve been at Kelly, Ellington, Tinker AFBs

To hell and back.

I remember you! You had barbecue sauce on your chin. You also tried to grab my ass.

Ah, those were fun times, weren’t they?

Steve?

Actually, I was part of the remodel crew a couple of years ago.
