Mean Girls is very good.
And I liked the first Rush Hour and even the two follow-ups. Yeah I said it…

I like Kevin Smith’s comedies (I even thought Mallrats and Jersey Girl were okay) and they’ve all come out since 1990.
Ben Stiller has made some good comedies. I liked There’s Something About Mary, Meet the Parents, Mystery Men, Zoolander, Dodgeball, and Tropic Thunder.
I liked Notting Hill, Love Actually, and Pirate Radio, all by Richard Curtis.
I liked Stephen Chow’s Shaolin Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle.
There’s some teen comedies I’ve liked: Josie and the Pusseycats, Not Another Teen Movie, Juno, and Easy A among them.
***Date Night
Step Brothers
Dodge Ball
Napoleon Dynamite
Easy A
I’m afraid to say it, but, I will:
The Hangover.
Oh, O Brother Where art Thou.
Zoolander.
The only one I thought of that hasn’t already been posted is Multiplicity.
Since it hasn’t mentioned I’ll throw in Used Cars.
Another one that has not been mentioned:
Ruthless People. Great plot (based loosely on O. Henry’s The Ransom of Red Chief), great performances and some of the funniest scenes I’ve come across.
Also, Soapdish. Kevin Kline steals the show, but good performances and laughs all around.
Did anyone mention Top Secret! ? If you liked Airplane! and Kentucky Fried Movie and Naked Gun, give this one a try.
Great movie from 1985.
Well I totally misread the date, it’s 1980. Man! Time flies. Still a great comedy.
Man, y’all seem to be hung up on the dates. See post #9.
There was a prominent Jimmy Carter joke in it.
But I agree, very good movie.
I love City Slickers 1 and 2.
God bless you always!!!
Holly
P.S. To me, a 3rd one should have been made. With Jack Palance not being here anymore, who would play Curly’s twin brother Duke now? Another actor that can’t be replaced in my opinion is the guy that brought the character of Ernest P. Worrell to life. May him and Jack rest in peace.
For me it’s gotta be the following:
“State And Main”
“Bullets Over Broadway”
“Planes, Trains, and Automobiles”
“Dumb and Dumber”
“Animal House”
And the DVD commentary by Abel Ferrara for the film “King Of New York” is hysterical, even if the movie’s a serious drama.
Color me about as culturally sophisticated as Jed Clampett, but my all-time fave is still Back to School with Rodney Dangerfield.
Lenny and Squigee as the satelite hackers is worth the price of admission, right there.
On topic
Galaxy Quest, Big Lebowski, and Best in show
You shouldn’t have limited the dates in the OP then, after tyeasing us with the title.

Abbott and Costello movies, especially "Naughty Nineties, if only for the “Who’s on First” routine, and Meet Frankebnstein, just 'cause.
Why post-1990? Is there something mystical about that year?
Nothing , it could be 1991 or 1989.. newer movies are better in print quality and I enjoy them more than older ones, thats why..
I’m not a big fan of David Spade but I’m telling you all, Joe Dirt is one of the all-time underrated comedies.
