Hell, yeah. When I did my cross-Canada trip, I left Winnipeg thinking that I’d drive as far as I could and find a motel when I needed to stop. Big mistake. We ended up driving through the night all the way to Thunder Bay before we found a vacancy, and had to sleep the day rather than the night before continuing eastward.
