Flying over doesn’t count. Setting foot on solid ground does. So if you changed planes in Toronto to fly to Vancouver, put Ontario down too.
All of the provinces except PEI and none of the territories. Embarrasing gaps considering I’m a life long Canadian who has been to all US states.
Every province from Ontario on east.
Born in Labrador, grew up on the island. Went to PEI with Scouts. Live in Ontario now. Been in Quebec, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia while driving between Ontario and Newfoundland. Haven’t been to any of the Territories, or anything west of Ontario (nothing west of Niagara Falls, even).
Canadian (Ontario, ex-Saskatchewan). I haven’t been to Newfoundland or the territories. A few years ago, my wife and I took a bus tour of the Atlantic provinces so I was able to cross NB and PEI off my list (I’d visited NS earlier).
I was halfway to visiting all of them when they invented a new one…
Just Ontario. The ex and I were driving from Michigan to DC, so we decided to hop over the border for a little bit. Pulled funny money out of an ATM, bought some Canada Dry for the “irony,” then drove back. Most of the hour we were in Canada was spent in line trying to get back into Detroit.
As I said in the US States thread, I’ve been to all 10 provinces (no territories). And when I say I’ve been to Newfoundland and Labrador, I mean that I’ve been to Newfoundland AND to Labrador.
I have lived in :
British Columbia
Alberta
Ontario
New Brunswick
I have vacationed in:
Nova Scotia
Prince Edward Island
Saskatchewan
I have driven through and/or spent the night in:
Manitoba
Quebec
So that leaves Newfoundland and the Territories.
We have a plan to car trip though the maritime provinces which will take care of all of them, and a cruise up the Pacific coast to take care of the Yukon, but I don’t see how we’re going to fit Nunavut in. Once we get to all of them BUT, it’s going to eat at me.
Only Ontario. I spent a buttwad of my hard-earned money at Windsor bars while in college. We’d cross the border sometimes 3x a week to drink at the 19-and-over drinking establishments.
Oops, I think I made a mistake in voting. I’m pretty sure I was in Ontario, not Quebec. Sorry.
BC
Yukon
Ontario
Quebec
Alberta
Some on travels as a kid, some going to and from Alaska.
Ontario and Quebec only, but many times for both.
Live in Sask, been to Alberta and BC. I have actually never been (more or less) east of where I was born. I just kept moving south and vacationing west!
Never set foot in Canada. I know, I know: shameful for an American like me. :smack:
One of these days I’m going to go to Montreal for the Jazz Festival.
Lived in:
New Brunswick
Alberta
Saskatchewan
Manitoba
Vacationed in:
British Columbia
Ontario
PEI
Nova Scotia
Quebec
Newfoundland
Have not been to the territories.
I’ve lived in Quebec and Ontario. I’ve visited PEI for more than one day, spent 6 hours in Calgary once and have driven through New Brunswick (to get to PEI, naturally!)
I haven’t visited most of the States either, though I have a large chunk of Western Europe covered!
Nova Scotia
New Brunswick
Quebec
Ontario
British Columbia
Strangely enough 5/13 works out almost exactly to the same percentage of US States I’ve visited, 19/50 (or 51 if DC is included).
I live in Ontario, have crossed into Quebec numerous times, took a family vacation to PEI, crossing through Quebec and New Brunswick when I was 9, and flown to Calgary when I was 16.
I was just there for the end of it. Now, understand, I have NO interest in jazz, and really find it kind of boring…and the jazz festival was still realy cool. Free concerts all over the place, the whole city celebrates it, lots of fun. Montreal really comes to life (IME, and it’s backed up by lots of people) in the evenings. The shops are almost closed in the daytime and they all open in the evenings and the young people just pour out!
