I think the questions pretty clear, no? As always I’d be grateful for explanations/justifications/rationalizations. I’ll just set down these ground rules:
While in this universe, you have no more awareness of your role as a fictional character than the average comic book character; you’re not Buddy Baker, in other words. You can decide to be a student at Xavier’s during Morrison’s run, f’instance, but once there you won’t realize you’re in a funnybook. You’ll stay in the universe till the story moves you out.
The characters, at least as far as you’re concerned, will retain their free will. You can choose to be the guy WOOING Wonder Woman, but there’s no guarantee that she’ll come across.
Kindly don’t just say “X-Men,” or “Batman.” Specify a time period at least, or better yet, a specific run.
(I’ll make a prediction as to what will be missing from this list: no one will want to live in the current Gotham City.)
I think i’d like to hang out with the Runaways - I think i’m around the same age as the oldest of them, so I don’t think they’d kick me out. They don’t go up against the insanely powerful bad guys regularly. Add my usual reasons for liking them; Molly is possibly the cutest character ever, and Nico’s hot.
After having read the first volume of Powers, I’d kinda like to work for the police department in that town. Even better, I could be a contractor and make millions fixing all the buildings that get smashed in the background fights between superheros and villians that nobody seems particularly suprised by.
