I’m thinking here, major corporations. It’s fairly well known now that Trump has quite a track record of stiffing his suppliers - especially smaller companies. They do work for him under contract, and then when it comes time to pay, he refuses, and threatens to tell everyone they do shoddy work unless they accept pennies on the dollar. Trump says this is “good business”.
What about large companies? I’m thinking Ford Motor Corp. They must not appreciate it when Trump lies about them moving all of their jobs to Mexico. Also Apple… Bluster about “forcing” them to make all their products in the US must not go over too well in the corporate office. Add to that list now Google. Trump is spouting a conspiracy theory(direct from Sputnik News, a Russian state propaganda outlet) that Google is somehow supressing bad Clinton search results.
Any other large corporations that Trump has irritated? It’s reported that not a single CEO of the Fortune 100 companieshas donated to Trump, whereas nearly a third of Fortune 100 CEOs supported the then Republican nominee Mitt Romney.
So… any other examples of large companies in the US who Trump has put into the “enemy” camp?
Josh Marshall of Talking Points Memo has mentioned in various pieces that Deutsche Bank is the only “Wall Street” bank that will lend The Donald money. He’s considered a radioactive credit risk elsewhere.
