Which Doper did it? : The Game

Inspired by Bosda’s “OK, which Doper did it?” thread, which I thought was going to be a game, but it’s not. This one is.

The rules:

  • If you post a clue, hang around long enough to verify whether the guesses are correct or incorrect.
  • When posting a possible answer, please quote the clue.

Let’s get started…

(1) Although the police thoroughly searched the crime site, they could find no evidence whatsoever. Which Doper did it?

(2) Sometime during the night, the victim’s blood was sucked out. Which Doper did it?

(1) is NoClueBoy.

You are correct.

  1. When they got to the crime scene, all the cops found was this critter scampering around. Who did they arrest?
  1. We suspect that death was the result of blunt force trauma, done with a large, heavy, sharp object–possibly something like a machete or an axe.

(2) Sometime during the night, the victim’s blood was sucked out. Which Doper did it?

4 is Regallag the Axe
Clue: The ony clue at the murder scene was a single glove, with the thumb on the right, covered with images of star trek, star wars and dungeons & dragons characters.

Right you are.
Many astonished witnesses said they saw the perpetrator, a woman, running rapidly from the crime scene.

I’m guessing iampunha but he’s a he not a her.

T’was pseudotriton ruber ruber what did the evil deed!

The clue was “running rapidly”, not running nekkid.

  1. Witnesses reported that they heard the faint strumming sounds of a musical instrument being played just before the gunshot, but nobody interviewed could agree on what it sounded like–one guessed a lyre, another guessed a harp, and a third wondered if it was a banjo.

(7) Clue: A witness said that at about the time of the murder he saw a ghostly figure leaving the crime scene. He described the suspect as having a low and depressed skull with strong supraciliary ridges, and two large teeth. “It was like he wasn’t quite human,” the witness stated.

Our own SpecterOfPithecanthropus.

You are correct, sir!

Hillbilly Queen and Earthworm Jim are both correct (for look@hergo and Spectre of Pithecanthropus, respectively).

(8) Clue: Several people reported hearing two shouts at about the time of the murder. “It sounded like somebody really needed to let it all out,” one witness said.

(9) Clue: Police described the crime as the perfect murder and stated that it was unlikely to ever be solved. “The perpetrator was an absolete genius,” said Lieutenant Zotti.

9 is easy, but why would the Perfect Master ever stoop to crime?
