People I’ve personally met:
Least Original User Name Ever: aka LOUNE. Board smart ass. Cool cat. Wry, funny and politically active in a good way. Loves George Washington because he’s 10 frikkin’ feet tall, bitches.
olivesmarch4th. Username conjures an awesome visual. But more importantly, she’s wise beyond her years, been through hell, but has kept it all together. Someone to listen to and respect. Lovely and charming. From Michigan, but moved to New Jersey (yet attends school in PA). Her birthday is March 4th (duh). (guilty of dopercrush as well).
Queen Tonya. All around awesome person. Automotive worker (i think?!). Hosts great DopeFests. Don’t underestimate her gaming abilities. Easy to become fast friends.
Heller Highwater: Chemist (or chemist major?). Funny, smart and easy going. Lives in Lansing. Has a great collection of board games. I Look forward to his presence at DopeFests.
FiverOptic: Gay and proud of it. Awesome wit and an asset on any team play. Plus she’s funny, clever and just damn cool. I’m not sure, but perhaps her user name is a play on Watership Down (one of my favorite novels evar).
Gfactor: Attorney and Mod. Had him over my house for snacks and conversation. Loves philosophy and the tv show LOST. Smart as a whip, and can talk for hours on very interesting topics. Also… kick ass BBQPit mod.
People I haven’t met:
Stranger on a Train: The smartest most knowledeble guy on the board… NAY! the Universe. When he posts, it’s a good idea to pay attention. Although, some of his posts about his ongoing romantic life (in MPSIMS) seem to indicate a little Asperger’s. Sheldon like, even. Regardless, I regard him and his posts with the utmost respect.
Sleeps With Butterflies: A nurse at a hospital (?) and one of the resident SDMB hotties. Says it like it is, bluntly but with much pith, and I’m usually rooting for her, because she’s hardly ever off the mark. The Dope wouldn’t be the same without her.
MeanOldLady: Another resident hottie. Although, she says whats on her mind, she’s less pointed than “Sleeps”. She’s funny, witty and very colorful.
Chronos: The go to guy about anything Science/Astronomy related. Concise and incredibly knowledgeable.
Revenant Threshold: Smart and eloquent poster. I think he resides in the UK, but I can’t remember. Can be counted on as the voice of reason, and can cut through the crap like a warm knife through butter.
Shodan: Resident vociferous conservative. Rarely do I agree with his worldview. Points for consistency though.
kanicbird: The opposite of Der Trihs. Loves to spew religious, spiritual or metaphysical opinions, often posed as fact.
Lekatt: Big believer in the afterlife and near-death experiences. Never has much to back his stuff up with, other than his own stuff, and likewise, never has much else to offer.
Ellen Cherry: Charming, sweet and witty. Love of Macs and fine footware. Has a great family, and loves to show them off (I don’t blame her). She also has the power to ban my ass. Not that she ever would!

lno: that’s an L, not an I. Minnesotan (I think). Married to the screenwriter who also trains dogs (and whose name I can’t remember now and it’s maddening!) Wait! Elenfair! That’s her name (I think)! She’s Canadian (I believe).
NurseCarmen: neither a nurse nor a Carmen. Minnesotan. Works in downtown Mpls, not far from lno (who might work in the IDS tower, the bastard).
MsRobyn: married to AirmanDoors. Went back to school as an adult.
