Which episode of 24 was this?

I’m trying to find a specific scene from 24 to show a friend, and since I don’t really want to flip through the entire shelf of DVDs I thought I would avail of the dopers who have a better memory than I do.

During the scene in question Bauer needs to get some kind of information from a guy he’s captured-the tension ramps up, it looks like he’s about to beat or otherwise torment his captive, and then at the last minute he turns and shoots the poor guy’s wife in the knee instead, in a scene that is both horrible and kind of morbidly hilarious.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

If you leave out “shoots the poor guy’s wife in the knee instead,” I think you’ve just described most episodes of 24.
