Which mod is online?

If I want to send a private message to a mod, how do I find out who is online?

Go tho the main page that lists the forums. At the bottom, just after the listing of the forums, is a link called “View Forum Leaders.” That will get you a list of Mods/admins, and tell you who is on. EXCEPT, some of us have cloaks of invisibility enabled. So, while I am actually “on” the board right now, you probably won’t know it.

Thanks.

There is a link to view forum leaders at the bottom of the forum index page. It lists the mods for every forum and has the green lights that tell you if that mod is online. PMs do not require the receiver being online, however. So you can send your message and they’ll simply receive it once they log on.

Here.

Edit: Too slow.

Invisible Cloak Ninja’d!

If the specific moderator is unimportant, I believe that clicking the red triangle in the upper right hand corner of a post is the fastest method.

When a post is reported, an email is sent to all the Mods for the forum in which the post was made - I only see emails about posts that get reported in MPSIMS for example. If you report a post and none of the mods are at their computers, they won’t see it right away. If you need to contact someone immediately, you should PM someone who is already online. Although backing it up by reporting can’t hurt.

That would be easier if some mods didn’t set their status to be invisible. Regular members can’t see the red dots.

I wish I could see red dots…

Sorry to resurrect this, but I’ve just checked, and under ‘View Forum Leaders’, not one Moderator is shown as being on line. Is this correct? If so, we’re unsupervised! Let anarchy reign!

Moderators can be mighty at times but even the mighty have to sleep sometime.

You posted this at 5:08. Marley23 was posting at 5:23, so you might have gotten in one or two good licks, but that boy never sleeps is seems.

And, don’t forget what I said: some of us have our visibility turned off, just to keep you on your toes.

That’s how it feels when I have to work at 6 a.m.
