Which movie am I thinking of?

It was, I think, something from the late 80s to mid 90s about a woman who raised herself in the wild (some sort of forest) and never saw another human until a bunch of researchers stumbled upon her bathing.

Eventually they ease her back into civilization, etc. and I think one of the researchers end up falling for her. It might’ve been based on a true story. I think the movie title was one simple word, her name, something like “Goia” or “Nalen” or something like that.

Anyone know what I’m talking about?
