Which of history’s fashions would you choose, if you could adopt any style?

Just once, I’d like to go around wearing samurai armor, in particular the style used by Date Masamune during the Sengoku period of Japanese history. Like Masamune, I’m blind in my right eye, so the eye patch he used would be especially fitting.

A woman can’t do any better than our modern styles here in the United States, so I’'m just fine with the here and now. History is full of examples of the crap women had to endure in regard to how they had to dress.

Although I can’t find any historical evidence, there’s the old trope of released convicts being issued cheap new suits to start fresh. I’d like to have a wardrobe of all 48 plus 1 federal from the mid-20th century
