I just knew I should have made it a public poll!
It seems to be a trade-off; public poll = fewer voters.

… When did my daughter become a Doper?
I don’t know that I ever watched the Tonight Show except in rerun/retrospectives during prime time. I watched HIMYM on Netflix and I don’t know when it’s broadcast, so it’d be hard to miss it. I haven’t seen any of the other shows listed.
My husband and I tend to watch the science-y shows on cable. And we watch a lot of Netflix.
Glee and HIMYM are the only ones on that list I’ve ever watched. Glee I haven’t watched in a couple years, so HIMYM wins by default.
I agree, altho I **HATE HATE HATE **HG, Warehouse 13 is pretty nifty and have a otherwise great cast.
Well, I’d be more impressed by that except that the Dope (and other MB) has always has a decent % of “I am so hip I don’t even own a TV” crowd , who shouldn’t even been voting here. Next time, your poll should read “Of regular Television viewers…”
I’ll bet most of that voting group are not regular TV viewers at all.
Define “regular”. I watch a couple hours a day but almost nothing from the major networks. Trophy Wife and Modern Family, and an occasional Big Bang Theory.
I appreciate you observation, DrDeth, and won’t even try to refute it. But the simple solution would be to drop those votes and recalculate the percentages from the total of those who voted for something.
My main reason to include the “none” option is that if I hadn’t somebody would moan about the lack of it. It’s more impressive to me that only three or four of these shows will be missed by a large number of people.
At the moment five won’t be missed at all – even by those who never watch TV!
Justified.
Maybe there will be a movie! If they don’t kill off Raylan, that is.
Me too. I used to really be into Glee and would have voted for it a few years ago.
If Fallon is taking over for Leno are both shows ending or merging?
The Newsroom, one of the best shows ever. Looks like I am the only person brave enough to admit voting for it.
The show had/has it flaws, and I wasn’t particular familiar with Aaron Sorkin before I watched it.
Not a cursed one of them. There are a few I don’t recognize & the rest are mediocre to crap.
I would almost miss Warehouse 13 because I’d watch an ep. or 2 with the hubby, but on its own, I don’t care that much for the show overall.
Definitely Justified. Some of the best characters and acting in a show on now. Anything with Elmore Leonard-inspired dialogue done well will be missed.
That was easy given that most of those shows are either unmitigated garbage (Glee, HIMYM, Warehouse 13, Californication) or eminently replaceable talk/interview shows (TTS, LN, Katie). Admittedly, Glee was amazing for 13 episodes, but then they just kept making what should’ve been an entertaining miniseries. True Blood started out great, got worse, got amazing, then went totally off the rails, even more so when Ball lost interest. Wilfred was an obvious short-timer from episode one. It’s a great show, but not one that could stick around for ten seasons. The Newsroom is inexplicably overrated, maybe because it tries to deal with The Issues in what people think seem to think is a serious manner.
So ultimately it’s down to Boardwalk Empire and Justified, and although BW managed to do the dense period drama thing well, I’ve got to give the nod to Justified simply because I enjoy watching it far more. I can only hope that Olyphant and Goggins land in roles half as worthy as those they’ve had on Justified, and no, Goggins’ turn on that mess of a show Sutter keeps squeezing out doesn’t qualify. He’s fabulous, but the rest of the show is unwatchable. Let’s hope that the seventh season of that is the last, because it will be my least-missed show.
Looks like we might get to 200 voters before much longer.

Since we only had ONE vote I’m curious if anybody has at least seen any of those 0-votes shows. I haven’t, but then I haven’t seen but four of the others enough to have an opinion about them. And I will actually miss three of those!
I went with Wilfred, too. But I’m not so sure it’s going to end any of the ways you posit. Jason Gunn and gang have always had a way of telling you what’s going on without telling you what’s going on. I expect it will end either ambiguously or with the characters deciding ‘it doesn’t matter, let’s just live our lives.’
I’ve only actually ‘watched’ two of the above shows, and a third show, just once in a while. I’m not at all familiar with the rest of them. Half, I never even HEARD of them. ???
The only one of these shows I’ve ever seen is The Tonight Show, and that not for years, and like salinqmind I have never heard of some of them. So I guess I will survive their cancellations.
Are they replacing Leno, or junking the whole show?
Regards,
Shodan
Justified followed by Boardwalk Empire.
Do not care about any of the others.
Fallon is replacing Leno. Seth Meyers is replacing Fallon.
