Pretty easy distinction here: John Holmes. All the others had significant talent in some way or the other. Having a huge schlong isn’t a talent, just (sort of) lucky genetics. He wasn’t even that great of a porn performer. His hog was so big he could never really get it ‘up’. Plus he was a low-life criminal drug addict, and hedonistically died of AIDS…
Tom Cruise. He’s the only superhero.

Rush Limbaugh, because as least as many of his Google hits are “hate” hits as like hits. Even Lance Armstrong’s sad decline has left him more to be pitied than censured. Limbaugh actively seeks to piss off people because it ensures him of an audience. It’s less that he’s intrinsically unlikable, as that he’s built his career around “love me, or hate me, but you keep coming back.”

I’m impressed with the OP’s talent for picking a diverse pool of contestants. Each is unique in some obvious way, but none are standout uniquer (?:eek:) than the others.
I’m going to say Will Rogers. Why? Both in his own time, and still to the present day he’s uncontroversial. AFAIK, and I admit showbiz & celebrity gossip is far from area of expertise.
All the others are in some way a fallen angel. Or as RivkahChaya said so well about Limbaugh, controversy is his stock in trade.

Hmm, I wasn’t sure how to word it. I was afraid if I just said “whose cock I’ve seen”, that would make it sound like I had seen it in person.
The only thing unique about him is that he’s not on the list. But he shares that distinction with about 3.5 billion alive guys & another umpteen billion dead guys.
So he’s not as unique as all that.
I went with Gus Grissom as the others are, at least in part, famous for being famous; being a celebrity is one of their major accomplishments. I don’t see Gus Grissom as falling into that pattern.
