Joey Buttafuoco and the Long Island Lolita better known as Amy Fisher are prime examples I think. I suppose we should do better than finding infamous court cases. I can’t help it though. John Waybe Bobbitt and has wife Lorena are another example. On a more sinister note the McMartin’s of California certainly had their moment in the sun.

I think they have to be famous and in this day and age that means media attention.
