Yes, he’s married. She was mentioned at the end of the episode “Obnoxious, Offensive, Egomaniac, Etc.” where the staff accidentally sends Alan the script that included their insults of him. Mel says, “His wife’s name is Margaret”.

Barbara Good - bright, resourceful, loyal, hard-working, impishly witty, assertive, kind, and played by Felicity Kendal whom I personally would nail like a loose floorboard.

I doubt Barbara means much to the Americans here, but for British men of a certain vintage, she is the only possible answer to this question. Kendal’s older now, of course, but I’ve seen her on stage a couple of times recently and she’s still a babe. And a damn good actress too.

She was Frank’s wife and Dennis & Dee’s mother in “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”, though the character Barbara Reynolds probably belongs in the other thread.
