Which TV husband or wife would you most want as your spouse?

I’m whipped enough as it is. Why would anyone want a wife who could kick your ass into next week without breaking a nail?

I would rather expect she would only do so given sufficient provocation. My obvious adoration of her would make sure she never felt like doing that (to me) and it IS a handy skill to have in a partner if you go anywhere where you might be mugged.

“Darling, please rough up those hooligans whilst I stand here holding your 'brelly.” (The 'brelly has a sword in it, of course.)

I didn’t notice the poster’s name, and saw what I thought was a signature at the end of this post…

Agreed, but I chose “The Good Wife” character instead, because on “ER” she wasn’t married.

Either way, she is a stunning woman. Smart, sexy, tough as nails.

Ha, you fools left Mal Reynolds to ME! swoons

Unless you count the one episode scam marriage, he does not qualify as a TV husband.

Yes you are but i suggested Mr. Kotter already.

And the happily married Hart’s, Jonathan and Jennifer. Pa Ingalls would be welcome too.

I am here to help. My pick for this thread is Luke (but only seasons 1 - 3 Luke). I like the broody type. Attractive, sarcastic, and he can cook AND fix stuff. He’s my dream date. I’d move to Star’s Hollow for him. As a favor to you, you know. Just to get him out of your way.

I think Lorelai has already gotten her inheritance from her own grandmother, and her parents are quite likely to leave their money to Rory, not to her. I suspect that is what Lorelai actually would prefer.

Laura Petrie of course.

Lucy Ewing. She’s hot, heiress to millions, and good old Uncle JR would make sure you got whatever you wanted as long as you treat Lucy right.

But she’s an uncle-fucker!

Rose Harper. Sexy as hell and presumably worth some bank after pushing Charlie in front of a train.

In all fairness to Lucy, she didn’t know Ray was her uncle at the time.

Actually she was shown to be quite well off in an episode where she offered to lend Charlie some money.
Charlie on the other hand, when he thought he might be having a heart attack, told Alan that his wealth was all a “house of cards.” The Malibu beach house had multiple mortgages on it and I have no idea how much is coming in in royalties from Charlie Waffles.
I liked Rose. She had just enough kinky to make it interesting. (And sometimes a little too much if you object to things like genital gluing and the occasional push-in-front-of-a-train thing.)

Good - that frees up Greg for me. Responsible, earns a decent living, upstanding… but not afraid to get his wild thing on from time to time :).

If Emma Peel counts, so does Mal. I said, BACK OFF, he’s MINE!

Emma Peel counts. She was married before her episodes started and her run on the series ended when her husband came back.

I can certainly see the appeal of Zoe, but if I were going with any of Serenity’s crew, it’d simply have to be Kaylee. Who isn’t married, and is thus ineligible for this thread, so I can’t go with any of the crew.

Shirley Partridge - my first case of puppy love.

Charlotte from Sex and the City … she did marry Charlie Runkle by the end of the series, didn’t she?
