Which TV Wife/Husband would you like as a mate?

The mother on ‘Grounded for Life’. Smart, funny, down-to-earth, and very cute.

I wouldn’t mind getting a chance at a young Margaret Bouvier. Ooh, and I make sure she’s a cop, woman in uniform, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I suppose we could wrestle for him…

pudding at dawn?

I’d have to pick Rebecca Donaldson (Lori Loughlin) from “Full House”. Not that I was ever a big fan of the show, but she was just HOT! Smart, sensible, attractive, and a redhead to boot. Mmmm. She’s yummy!

If you insist. Although (planting seeds of doubt) do you really think Doug can satisify your desires and fantasies of domination?

Oh, yeah, Lori Loughlin is the first choice!!

  1. Jamie Buchman
  2. Paul Buchman’s lesbian sister-in-law (does that count?)
  3. Ross’(Friends) ex-wife’s lover (i’m seeing a pattern)

Oooh… thought of my second: Erin, from Titus. Damn… what the hell’s she doing with THAT loser, when she could be with ME?

Rosalind Chao has pretty much made her career out of playing the wives of major characters on TV shows.

First she was Soon-Yi, the Korean girl who married Klinger on the last episode of MAS*H.

Then she was the wife of the black bailiff guy on Night Court.

But I want her as Keiko O’Brien, spouse to hapless Everyguy Chief Miles O’Brien on Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

Beautiful, devoted, Asian, a scientist: what’s not to love?

Either her, or Donna Stone from The Donna Reed Show. I want to see her in those pearls she wears to do housework.

Just the pearls.

The Redhead from That 70’s Show Damn, she gives me a ‘special feeling’.

Gotta be Peg Bundy. Quite a libido on that gal…

I’m gonna have to be another one in the Dharma camp.

I noticed a lot of people are choosing Helen Hunt. Ya know, she just doesn’t do it for me. Too much forehead I think.

Eden. Sweet, devoted, GORGEOUS, magic. Quadruple threat.

I gotta ask, though- you DO own some capris pants, right?

I believe the correct term is “fivehead”…and a whiny one at that. bang zoom

Chao wasn’t the wife on Night Court. Chao would have been too old for the role. Quon Lee was played by Denise Kumagai. You may be confused because Kumagai played a girl Klinger tries to help in an earlier episode, whose mother thinks Klinger is trying to buy her to be his wife.

My choice: Topanga Lawrence on Boy Meets World.

Berg from ** 2 Guys and a Girl.** Funny, sarcastic, deeply caring/loyal and just the right kind of arrogance (I can’t be the only one who thinks this is an attractive characteristic. So much better than the low-self esteem variety) and of course, drop dead gorgeous.

and another vote for Helen Hunt

I want to change mine to Emma Peel. Topanga can be second choice.

Number Six, thanks for the correction re: Night Court. What tripped me up was not what you surmised but rather trusting my stepmother’s memory.

Still, I repeat my vote for Keiko O’Brien, a hottie in every way I find important.

Another vote for Emily Hartley played by Suzanne Pleshette. My rankings are:

  1. Emily Hartley
  2. Claire Huxtable - smart, with a good job, and judging by the number of Dr. Cliff Hutxtable’s kids running around, she liked sex.
  3. Beth Davenport from Hill Street Blues.
  4. Jamie Buchman/Helen Hunt
  5. Debra Barone/Patricia Heaton.

Dharma doesn’t do a thing for me.
