Which US denomination has the money?

Does anybody have any good statistical data on which US denomination has the highest median income (#1) and gives the most percentage-wise of their income to charity (#2). I was under the impression that it was Catholics… but I could be mistaken. I found Charles E Zech’s book (Why Catholics Don’t Give) in a Google search on the subject, but haven’t found any statistical data?

Help?

When I specifically ask which denomination has the highest median income, I mean of attending members… just for clarification.

The denomination in the U.S. with the highest average income is probably the Episcopalians. The highest percent of income donated to the church is probably the Mormons, more than 30% of whom tithe (i.e., donate at least 10% to the church).

I would say the Scientologists. Since the religion works better for the wealthy.
