I have a sneaking suspicion he meant Fable 2.
If you’ll be playing online at all, I recommend Left 4 Dead. It’s the first FPS I’ve encountered where teamwork is absolutely essential to success; anyone who goes it alone Rambo-style will get creamed. And it’s mighty fun playing as the Infected.
But I say “online” because the solo campaign really isn’t that impressive; it’s short and kinda easy to finish with AI teammates. The game really shines in online multiplayer Versus mode.
Any recent FPS is like this, with regards to teamwork, by the way.
I figured that out when I sobered up, but thank you. And I sure hope the second one is better than the first (the original isn’t a bad game, but as I have come to expect from a Molyneux game, Fable did not deliver what was promised).
Left 4 Dead is a blast.
they should have called 2 “Fable 1.5” because it’s very similar in every way but more fleshed out. It’s basically, in a lot of ways, what they wanted for Fable 1. That said, it’s not an amazing game, but it is cool. The dog is neat, but he gets f-in annoying after awhile.
My recommendation for Fable 2 is to get some money by doing a job (you can’t get money by killing things) and then immediately start buying up property. Once you make a couple hundred every 5 minutes or whatever it is, then turn off your system and wait a couple days. You earn money when your console is off, so when you come back in you’ll have some decent cash. Then buy up a bunch more property, etc. You’ll never have to work again (I was getting somewhere around 9000 gold every 5 minutes. The most expensive weapon I ever bought was 80,000 or so)
