Me neither. I’ve given up. In all honesty, though, I think it was way more fun to find stuff to send out so I can’t exactly say that I’m disappointed to not receive things someone else didn’t want.
The point remains, however, that if you’re going to sign up for something like this, you need to fucking follow through with it. To just blow it off is nothing less than classless and rude. That is what disappoints me.
My WE was sent more than a month ago. If you’re out there, MelodyHarmonious, please let me know that you received it.

I’m sorry that you’re getting called names because some idiot decided to sign up for the WE and then back out of the commitment. That really sucks. I’d post the persons user name so that we can all make fun of him or her, but then, I can be vindictive like that. Is this the same person that has been not so nice to your other requests?

I agree with mmouse9799. Post names. All of the names of people who haven’t sent who were supposed to. The fact that someone would actually swear at you and call you names for trying to hold them to their promise shows they’re fundamentally immature. So post the names. Shame them. You owe them nothing at this point.

I think the fact that someone would swear at me when they’ve lamed out and not sent a package means they’re fundamentally an asshole, actually.
Anyhow, this is the text of the message I sent back:
I’ll see what sort of response that gets before I post that person’s name. FWIW, a volunteer has stepped forward and the elephantee who was short changed becasue of this asshole has been reassigned.
I meant to add, Schatzi is canoodled in my lap right now, so that’s good.

Zebra your elephater has contacted me and has said they are shipping on Monday or Tuesday. I’ve already reassigned you so you should get two packages.
Further update:
I’ve recieved another abusive, obnoxious e-mail from the same someone who couldn’t be arsed to send a package. It contained swearing and name calling. If anyone is arranging this type of thing and would like to avoid a troublemaker, PM me and I’ll let you know who it is.
One more pissy e-mail and I’ll let the whole damn board know who it is.
