Well I’m still sitting here. Though Rue told me that it was sent. I’m guessing the USPS lost it, kinda like they lost a couple of my bills. Its either that or the ex decided that she wouldn’t give me my mail. She took the key so I had to hope she gave me everything.

$4900 worth of TuitionPay AMS dollars. WB’s comment: “Maybe you can find somewhere to spend these. I can’t!” I don’t even know what they are or what they’re for… But, hey - how many people got almost $5000 in THEIR Packagederms?
A way cool Western Union combo fanny pack and sport bottle holder. “In case you’re ever out jogging and decided you needed a water bottle/fanny pack combo.” Actually, an excellent piece of apparatus for the gym. Which I don’t ACTUALLY go to, but I can make a good show of it.
A TV Guide dufflebag. Actually, it’s a nice-sized bag, with outside pockets and such. I use things like this, so I like it! “This kind of matches the Western Union waterbottle, even though it’s from the TV Guide Collection.”
A chrome-colored plastic box with the words “Eagle Eyes” emblazoned on it. Inside, a pair of sunglasses that turn everything yellow. WB’s comment: “As seen on TV.” Well, I didn’t see them on TV - what’s the purpose of sunglasses that make everything yellow?
A TuitionPay mirror that can be mounted on the corner of my monitor so I can see people sneaking up on me. I have craved one of these for more than a year - people DO sneak up on me. Usually when I’m posting to semi-profane rants in The Pit. “This is a little mirror you can use to see if you’re smiling at your desk. It can also be useful for seeing people sneaking up behind you.” And that’s what its use shall be, believe me!
A blue #2 pencil from Chase Manhattan Bank. “I used to work for Chase. :)”
I’ll let WB’s own note for this one explain its purpose: “Western Union sends us a lot of crap. Here is a squeezy football.” And, indeed, it is a squeezy football with the Western Union logo emblazoned upon it. I had best not let my Golden Retriever see it. He’ll try to play with it and wind up swallowing it.
A 25 cents off coupon for Chicken Teriyaki Rice-A-Roni, or Butter & Garlic Pasta Roni which expires 3/31/02. I’d better head out to my local purveyor of boxed groceries soon.
Finally, a nice-sized pad of postits from AMS (Academic Management Services). It was on these that WB wrote all of her notes - including the final one: “I hope you enjoy this big box of elephanty goodness. Enjoy!”
