That’s a regift from Rocking Horse’s Secret Santa gift. I loved it – the look on its face made me crack up each time I saw it – but it was a constant battle to keep the kitties from attacking it, so I finally had to pack it away. And packed away snowmen get unhappy.

Feel free to regift it again. Maybe it can turn into the Flying Dutchsnowman of the Straight Dope exchanges. :wink:

I hope your kids are geniuses. It took me literally WEEKS to finish that puzzle. Too much black area!

It’s good popcorn, btw, almost every kernel has popped in the two bags I used.

Hey, it could have been worse: I also have a zoloft travel mug, a mousepad, a ‘thingy’ – giant sized replica of a zoloft table, a million pens and sticky pads, a massager…

:wink: You’ll note that it is completely untouched, though several years old…

BTW, after I sealed it up I found I’d left one packet out. It was a collection of FOUR DOZEN drug rep ball point pens, all different designs. I think I have pens for every single psychoactive drug used in the past decade or so.

Do I work in a psychiatric hospital? Or …just spend a lot of time in one? Mwwa ha ha ha…

Yes, I was thinking of Cuervo when I put those in the box.

Snowflake cookie cutters - those were from a white elephant exchange at work a couple of years ago. I never did get around to using them. Glad they have a good home with you.

Airplane! - everyone needs to own Airplane!

Housewives Tarot - they work as tarot cards or kitsch, although you might get some *interesting * results if you tried to do a serious reading with them

The purse, well, what can I say? It was an impulse buy on eBay. It really wasn’t me, either.

OK, mine just went out. I could only find one box, which was somewhat larger than the original pile of valuable unique objects I had amassed. I have been running around pulling more stuff to fill it, but I finally decided that it wasn’t happening, so someone will be getting an elephant insulated with a layer of styrofoam peanuts. (Get it? Elephant? Peanuts? Ha! I’m so funny!)

Mine arrived yesterday! I got:

  • blue bucket hat
  • 8 cloth napkins, 4 green and 4 brown (these actually kind of go with my dining room stuff!)
  • ben-wa balls (OK, they’re really those Chinese chime balls, but that was the first thing my mind went to, because I’m twelve years old)
  • cat toy
  • cat food/water dish
  • Christmas night light
  • 2 Rugrats (Chuckie and Tommy) magnetic clips (these were kind of sticky, but having two toddlers, I understand this)
  • necklace w/metal discs
  • shiny green/gold/silver dreamcatcher (heh, to replace the one I sent off to my elephantee :D)
  • green dishtowel
  • makeup bag containing: Harley-Davidson collapsible travel brush w/mirror (the irony of this design is you can’t see yourself WHILE you’re brushing your hair…brush, look, brush, look, brush…it is good for telling whether you’ve got spinach in your teeth, though); travel size lotion and shower gel; sample of something I can’t remember
  • spiral moon & stars bookmark
  • salt shaker/pepper mill
  • bicycle inner tube (guess I have to buy a bike now!)
  • burgundy and gold tassel (hey, how did you know I was a Redskins fan? :D)
  • Easter Seals notepad/bookmark/2006-07 calendar
  • bunch of packets of seeds: lettuce; parsley, curly and Italian; basil, lemon and sweet; morning glory (I’ve been thinking of doing a little herb garden, so these will come in handy!)
