I am still having trouble at home logging onto the boards, but I have received my email with my intended victim and have been busy plotting what to send.
So, by Saturday, I am hoping to have it in the mail.
I ought to have a box in the mail within the week. I’m havign fun tearing around the house grabbing things. Wife is going to kill me.
Elephant boxed and sent. It’s got to cross the continent, so it might take a bit, but it’s on the way. I’m mildly disappointed in myself because I had less crap than I’d hoped–I moved in January and got rid of a bunch of stuff.
Same here. I left mine anonymous (although of course the postmark narrows it down) but I’ll be happy to fess up after my elephantee raves about what they got!
Packed, and will ship today.
I’ve just sent a 10.5 pound pachyderm plodding off to the southwest.
Hopefully he find the weather there much more suitable. 
Technical difficulties and moving processes have made me late to return to the thread to report, but the elephant is packed and ready to be shipped. I will make it to my local shipping spot this weekend. Whee!
I shipped mine today, October 20th. I hope my elephantee likes!
4#9oz of elephant headed west as of this afternoon. I hope the recipient thinks to check all of the packing papers - there’s a little fragile piece buried in a clump of paper. Then again, the enclosed note should serve as an inventory.

My pale pachyderm has been mailed. I didn’t add a note – I think most of my [del]crap[/del] high quality stuff will speak for itself.
Except the vase. There’s no excuse for that vase.
My ele weighs around 15#. Hubby was going to mail it today, but got sidetracked. He works tomorrow, so it won’t go out until Monday. I have a damaged hand, so I can’t take it myself. Sorry.
It will be winging it’s way to the middleish part of the country, soon.
I’m still gathering stuff, but I’m not going to be able to send it until next Friday, anyway, so it WILL leave this house before Nov. 1.

On today’s news, there have been more reports of a white elephant sighted near the coast of Spain. Kermit, what’s the scope on that?

Aaaah, yes, we have been able to ascertain that the Coast Guard got its first report on Saturday. Apparently the elephant has been moving west. The Coast Guards of both Spain and Portugal are searching for the elephant’s owners; when asked whether this could imply fines for said owners, Superjudges Del Olmo and Garzón refused to comment. Every zoo and circus in both countries reports that their pachyderms are accounted for.

my elephant is a little sluggish getting out of the gate, but I’ve been tempting it with peanuts so hopefully it will be underway in a few days
Mine may or may not get gone today. I have a doctor’s appt, and it may take a while.
I haven’t finished mine just yet. Luckly for me it goes all of one state north so it should be there pretty quick. If you happen to get a baby would you please send her back?
My elephant has been shipped and is making its way across the Pond.
As always, I have learned a value lesson from the Dope: international shipping is not as easy as just throwing something in the mailbox. But now I know how to do it the easy way, after spending much time with my local Post Office guy, who was extremely helpful in fixing the things I had done wrong.
This is uber-busy time at work for me and I’m away from home for the middle of this week, but I should have an oliphaunt packed by Thursday and mailed Friday or Saturday.
