In Hot Springs, SD, there is a wonderful mammoth elephant site. This former mudhole/drinking spot is so massive and so chock full of the skeletons of mammoths which got stuck and died there that after excavation they decided to just build a museum around it.
Do you know what kind of the creatures represent the majority of the specimens? Adolescent males.
Do you know why? Because mama elephants, perhaps recognizing instinctually, or by their behavior, are aware that an adolescent male with his hormone surge and lack of living experience is going to wreak havoc in the female group.
So the young males are driven out. But they have to eat and drink. So down to the mud hole they come and not having mammas to show them how to avoid accidents (or maybe just not paying attention) in they go for posterity.
I often wonder how many lives could be saved and accidents averted if young males could just be shuttered away in monasteries until they learned how to deal with their surging maleness.
I don’t endorse locking them up, no. But stern guidance and careful monitoring are in order.
Incidentally, what’s true of adolescent male elephants is also true of adolescent male baboons. It’s those baboons specifically who will invade a campground or residential neighborhood, to steal food, break shit, and generally raise hell.
The comparison with humans isn’t trivial or unwarranted.
I take it as a compliment too. Liberals and progressives helped give us child labor laws, womens suffrage, civil rights, medicare, medicaid, universal education, weekends off work, the EPA, direct election of senators, the minimum wage, social security, human rights as part of our foreign policy, etc. Conservatives by and large opposed all those things.
But when people do insult liberals, they tend to think of wimpy self hating white people.
When it comes to murder, rape, and child molestation, “white-one-white” crime is much more frequent than “black-on-white” crime.

Why do you believe that a white person murdered, raped, or molested by another white person isn’t real crime? Why do you ignore the suffering and trauma of these victims?
Let me suggest that you don’t care about crime or its victims. You only care about advancing a particular political agenda.
