Haven’t heard the Detroit Cobras yet. Are they kind of close to White Stripes (punkish r&b)? The Detroit scene is kinda coming alive again-I’ve heard a lot about The Gories, too.
From what I hear their live shows are the best.
I ripped their CD from a friend of mine. I absolutely love it. They’re like a stripped down MC5 with just a guitarist and a drummer. Their cover of the Cab Calloway song is unbelievably cool.
