Ok, here goes nothing. I don’t post that much, but I read practically everything here, all forums.

[li]I am 26, female, and only 5’ tall. I weigh 118 and have long brown hair.[/li][li]I love to travel and go to any event within a 6 hour drive. I loathe any drives longer than that. I’d rathe fly and just get there.[/li][li] I have no children, I am divorced after 5 years of marriage to a wonderful man. It was my decision, not his, but he is still a wonderful man, it was alot of factors, I won’t get into in this thread. [/li][li]I hate STUPID people and things. If it is not my way, then it is stupid (just kidding). [/li][li]I talk really fast and I think really fast and can make split second plans. [/li][li]I hate to be cold, which is probably why I haven’t bothered to move out of the Louisiana swamplands. I know it is last on the list for alot of things, and most of the time I’m not proud of it, but it is alot of fun. (And very close to alot of cities: Houston, Atlanta, Mobile, Jackson, New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Pensacola, Birmingham, Memphis, Galveston, etc.)[/li][li] I have a beautiful black and white cat named Sam.[/li][li] I do mammography for a living, and xray for extra money. I started xray school at 18 and feel as if I have been doing this forever. [/li][li] I’m still sorry that I haven’t finished college and earned a degree yet, even though I make alot more money than most of my friends that have. I want to feel accomplished, screw the money. I need a degree. I only have about 40 hours left. I went to college before xray school, and I have taken a few classes since then.[/li][li] I love to talk, amd very friendly, but have a fear of public speaking. This surprises everyone who knows me.[/li][li] I like old music, old TV shows, and Reader’s Digest. Most people think I’m at least 40 until they see me, and realize I look very young. After seeing me, they think 20 max.[/li][li] I don’t watch much TV, except Bewitched and the Discovery channel. And I watch anything with Jack Nicholson. I * love* him.[/li][li] Almost everyone who meets me, says I am extremely unique and have interests that surprise them. [/li][/ul]

Let’s see. Physically I’m 6’0, brown hair, hazel eyes, and I’m at my perfect weight, or will be as soon as I grow to 6’10".

I’ve been married four years and don’t have plans for any kids, even though I’ve got two daughters (one 3 yrs, one 9 mo.) (maybe I’ll take 'em to the park or something).

Chronologically, I’m 34. As far as maturity goes-I’ll leave that open for debate.

I’ve had thirty different addresses in seven different states, not including the state of denial I’m usually in. With an English mother, German-American father, and growing up in the Midwest and California, I’m the only person I know who has used “ya’ll, dude, bloody, & schwein” in a single sentence without trying-even I was impressed when somebody pointed it out.

I’m totally into music. I listen to some of everything. The only two exceptions to that are Christian contemporary and opera. The only TV I watch on a regular basis is Buffy the Vampire Slayer-wife got me into it. I’d rather be on-line or playing with the kids. My hobbies used to include mountain biking, reading, drinking, and old movies. They now are playing with dolls and blocks, watching kideos, and trying to sneak alone time with the wife-and I wouldn’t have it any other way

I’m 38 years old but most people don’t believe that I’m 30 yet. Shaving my head helps with that. I’m 5’9 & 155 lbs. I work out with weights sporadically & smoke a little less than a pack a day. I had a problem with drugs & alcohol in my 20s and have been clean for 8 years now.

My wife of 4 years moved out in early April and took her mother & sister with her. I’m just past the emotionally broken stage, starting to enjoy feeling comfortable in my own house again. My dog has been a great help with that. He’s my only child & I have no plans to change that, but if in the future I hook up with a woman who has a kid that would be OK.

I work in a call center and was doing ISP support there for a couple years. Now I’m beta testing a web site where you can rent movies for a 24-hour period via download . It beats doing ISP support.

I have a small vegetable garden in my back yard & neglected it pretty badly this summer. I still ended up taking a lot of zucchini to the food bank. I’m getting tomatoes now. I also grow a lot of flowers; lillies, roses, tulips, irises, daffodils, etc. My house is full of plants too.

I really enjoy living in the rocky mountains and take my dog on a hike once a week. I get a lot of peace, serenity & spirituality out of nature.

I rent 3 rooms in my house out to some other computer geeks & we have a small network in the house. I’m learning linux & am collecting components for a beowulf hive right now. I plan on running a windows 2000 domain with a smoothwall gateway & an immunix DMZ. It’s a lot of fun & takes my mind off my silly little problems.

Musically I’m pretty eclectic. Tonight I’ve listened to Rob Zombie, Bobby Darin, Karl Orff, Beethoven, Vangellis, Glenn Miller, Edith Piaff, Rev Horton Heat, Concrete Blonde & Snake River Conspiracy. This summer I hit a couple raves & got turned on to hard house techno. I really like Bad Boy Bill, DJ Irene & Paul Okenfold.

I am a spiritual person but have serious issues with organized religion. I hold many conflicting beliefs and opinions. I think that human belief is the most powerful thing in the universe but know that willpower alone is insufficient. I am part of the universe just like a star but am also insignificant as an insect. I want my corpse to be cremated & have made my younger brothers promise to till the ashes into my vegetable garden so it will go back into the food chain. I wish they could just process it into dog food or sausages.
