I can pick up things with my right foot, using
the big toe and the one next to it. Handy
for cleaning up the floor.
I’ll admit it . . . I have long, dextrous toes. I can pick up almost anything with them. It’s not as helpful and convenient as one might think, though.
I can.
First time I saw an ad for the movie My Left Foot I couldn’t figure out what the big deal was.
My feet are normal. No abnormally long toes or anything…they’re just dextrous I guess.
I wonder how long it’ll take to get this moved to MPSIMS…
I have unusually long toes (a couple doctors have suggested that I might have Marfan’s Syndrome), but, unfortunately, they aren’t very dextrous. When I was young, I could pick things up with no difficulty. Now, if I bend my toes too much, they are in danger of dislocation
I’ve always been able to do that. It’s especially handy (footy??) if you drop your towel after your shower. Just grasp firmly between the toes and flip it up into your hand.
I can pick up almost anything with my toes, even some heavy items. This drives my wife and kids nuts. They say it’s abnormal. I say it’s a gift!
Sorry for the delay, I had to take my shoes off.
Heh.
This shouldn’t have been moved… it is a General Question.
The answer is: monkeys.
I do it all the time, and I’ve got the longest toes my old podiatrist has ever seen!
I can pick up even the most tiny piece of lint, turn on light switches, open doors, use a fork, pinch another person, pull my kids hair, turn the TV channel, put a CD in the stereo, dial the phone, and even pick my nose with my toes.
Things I am working on:
Using my keyboard, doing makeup, cooking dinner, driving, and wiping my butt.
Oh, the list of things . . . i can do lots with my toes, but it can take a while. Right now I’m working on five-pound weights . . . having muscular toes is a real turn-on for women, or so I hear . . .
Me me me.
Now if I could pick tings up with my hands too. That would be something
just kidding.
Diane, I do that too - the dreaded *TOE PINCH *!!!
Those hurt too! Used to drive my ex insane…
I also use the toes for picking stuff up, so I dont have to bend over - just lazy I guess!
I have short, stubby toes. The little ones don’t even leave prints when I walk barefooted. Nevertheless, I have managed to use (not just pick up) small screwdrivers with them.
Diane -
Using my keyboard, doing makeup, cooking dinner, driving, and wiping my butt.
What? You aren’t working on masturbation? Or even “footjobs?”
Sure. You mean there are people who can’t???
Really, I thought everyone could. I do have kind of long toes, though, now that I think about it . . .
i can pick up things with my toes and often do. when doing craft projects it is nice to have 4 “hands” to hold things.
I also wash my toes in the bathroom sink standing on one foot as i wash the other. This gets very odd looks as i an quite short and fat.
I pinch everyone with my toes especially my nephew who has no idea what got him.
Now I can go and tell everyone that I am not alone. Other people do this too.
As for picking up things with my feet. Absolutely. If I’m taking notes off a website and I drop my pen, I don’t want to bend over. I just grab it with my foot. I’ve also used them to pull weeds in my yard, help my nephew put his shoes on, adjust screen settings on my computer, stop world hunger, and save the world. Okay, I haven’t stopped world hunger with my toes, nor have I saved the world with them. The rest is true though.
Yep, me too.
It’s especially handy when carrying my daughter and she decides to chuck something on the floor. Instead of bending over, I just pick it up with my toes.
No problem picking things up with my toes. I can also type with them.
