Uhhhhh, one of us has misinterpreted the meaning of this thread. I thought the OP was about finding the Dem mirror image of Trump’s style, notoriety, popularity, etc.,
Even if one hates Hillary, surely that hatred is for different reasons than the disdain for Trump(?) I are confused ![]()
Yeah, but at least you’d laugh from amusement and not in horror.
The purpose of the thread is to make fun of Trump.
Not quite on the same scale of Trump but the first name that sprang to my mind is PA Governor Tom Wolf. Not quite as rich or annoying but darn near as stubborn and opinionated.
Leaving a semi-serious response and going for the obvious humor factor – Jane Fonda. I already have a ton of anti-Jane stuff left over from the 60s and 70s I would like to move on eBay. Anyone want a patch showing Snoopy giving her the finger?
Don’t need answer at all, as this is not an attempt to destroy the Democratic party from within, and the odds of a Demo-equivalent Trump campaign attracting support from Democratic voters is slim to none.
Maybe in other election cycles but in this one everyone seems to be able to make things work if it fits their needs - Sanders is a long-term Indelendent running Dem, Hillary is a long term corporatist trying to make herself look liberal, Trump is a long term supporter and sympathizer of the Democratic party running as a Rep.
I’m more than happy to do my part to increase the supply of this incredibly rare resource.
A billionaire, TV star with a huge ego and no filter? Only one answer: Mark Cuban.
Brian Schweitzer.
Only if you want TRUMP to win 99% of the popular vote (including my own).
Granted it is doubtful whether Shkreli can survive for long being on the campaign trail-he may end up meeting the same fate as his moral equals such as the late Mussolini and Gadaffi.
He is also not eligible to be President for 2+ years, so there’s that.
If the democrats did it would have to be someone like Trump who is a rich businessperson. Thing is labor unions sort of run the democratic party at least at the local level and unless that persons said business is fully unionized they wont have much of a chance. Plus said business better have a diversified board with a mixed group of women and minorities and all.
So, Rahm. Or Hillary.
Thread relocated to Elections from IMHO.
Oh, c’mon. You want ranting, you go to Lewis Black!
Yep, he’s the guy!
He could run as Stuart Smalley…
Don’t worry; he’s only 32, and he can’t run.
Well, he can run; he just can’t be inaugurated if he were to win.
