Actually, due to some confusion about this thread, I feel I should explain a little bit more in depth. I was naming people from the SDMB because I don’t get out much, and these people really are my friends.
That’s why they’re in there with my family and such. So, this is not really a ‘Who is your favorite poster on the SDMB’ thread. It’s a who do you love in general thread.
I have some more additions too My brother in law, Jason, soon to be sister in law Katie, sisters in law Gen and Xenia, and my mother and father in law, Pat and Joe.

Who do I love? that’s a real loaded question when it comes to my philospy on love and it’s variations. I do not love those whom I should, and I do love that which has been given (Mostly Humanity as a whole) Lemme 'splain…Remember, you asked.
I believe there are 6 basic types of love. Everyone and everything loved can be hearkened back to these basic 6. They can expand to include everyone that you’ve ever loved. They can include even loving things, or actions. Sometimes they morph from one to the next. They even will mix and match and compliment each other so wonderfully that it is damn difficult to tell them from one another.
Love of God(S). (Your religions and spiritual persuits.)
Sometimes you fear them, sometimes you revere them. What drags you to Church on Sunday or Circle on the new moon? Love and Dedication to the higher powers out there?Priest and Shamans are loaded with love for thier god(S).
Love of Humanity (Manifested most clearly by Charitible donations)
What causes the millions of people in this world to be outraged at Georges war? What causes you to drop that change in the bucket for the child you do not know? What modivates you to do volenteer work? What makes folks become Social Workers or Doctors? Those who help people are brimming with this love.
Love of Blood (Your biological families, or in-laws)
Sometimes cajoled, Sometimes unearned. Would you bail out a family member before you bail out a stranger? Why put up with Aunt Martha’s slobbery kisses? Boy, this love is strained to the hilt at those bi-Yearly holiday get togethers. I know I don’t even like let alone love my Siblings. Estranged or Broken Famlies sometimes lack a bit here.
Love of Brotherhood (Your Friends and Chosen Family)
Why would you rather spend time with your friends than most of your family? Why join a orginazation like the Elks, or a cooking club? Does your best friend seem more what a brother should be than the one that carriess your DNA? Folks with huge extended famlies are boundless in this area.
Love of Self (Working out, Self-esteem ect…)
That which makes you worthy to yourself. What do you do to show yourself you care? Do you go out and buy yourself that goodie you’ve been eyeing? Do you believe that the body is a temple of self worship? Did you actually quit smoking because you wanted to live? Folks with Self-Esteem issues like myself, are in need of learning about this love.
Love of Romance (Obviously,SO’s, Lovers,Boody Calls…)
Some folks become obsessed with sex and love, or the idea of falling in love.This is singularly most complicated and difficult to explain, yet the most obvious.Do you love that person you just slept with? Or did you love the act you just performed? Folks in need here are either sluts, or asexuals. Folks who remain single thier whole lives sometimes never learn about this love.
So, you ask. Who do I love? Well, in one way or another I love everyone
