You know, I’ve posted a lot about love lately, and I think that love is a great thing. I love Jesus Christ, and I’ll make no secret of it.

I wanted to start a thread devoted to the love of your fellow man, or woman. MPSIMS seemed like the place.

So, who do you love?

I’ll start(This list is not exhaustive by any means, and I’ll add more as they come to me):

I love my wife, known to the SDMB as XJETGIRLX.
My mother, Esther. My father, Richard(aka “Big Dick”. No BS, really)
My brothers: Greg, Doug, Rick, Nathan, and my one and only big sister, Shelly. The infallible Cecil Adams, love you unca Cec’.
My dopefiends:
Polycarp, whose name I will one day horribly misspell. :wink:
Zenster, voice of reason.
elucidator, follower(stalker?) of great men and women.
lel, the cute one. :smiley:
vanilla, bottle blonde babe :wink: (Shhh, it’s a secret!)
MrVisible, for being so, well, visible.
gobear, for loving all mankind :stuck_out_tongue:
Diogenes, for keeping me straight.
december, just cuz.
Eve, for being classy and sassy.
His4Ever, for never giving up.
McDuff, for being nearly as reasonable as Zenster
Zev, for putting up with my Christian ignorance.
RTFirefly and Mangetout, for having my back on occasion, and pushing me back when I needed it.
Tertius01, for reading the Word, and not choosing 03 :wink:
Ben, for knowing every cell of the body.
GOM, for being right about a few things, and never being afraid to say it. :wink:
cjhoworth and tomndebb for just being who you are. It’s not easy when you’re you.
CanvasShoes for your sensitivity.
Esprix, I just love you man. I don’t even know why, 'cept you’re neat.
Bippy the Beardless, I love you 'cause you’ve got annoying questions, interesting answers and a share of the logic.
TVAA, for being the nicest person without a soul I know :wink:
raisinbread, purple, it makes sense when you think about it.
brian melendez for making me re-read your username three times :smiley:

David B, Gaudere, and MEBuckner, for keeping GD from going to the Pits. The lovely Lynn Bodini( :wink: ), and the handsome and charming Alphagene and John Corrado for keeping us from becoming homicidal when we are in the Pits.

I’m going to cut it off there for now, but I wanted you guys to know I love you, and you’ve all touched me in a special way. Anyone else want to share some love?

I love my parents and my brothers.

I love my grandfather, and my grandmother and great aunt, who have passed on.

I love my friends Binky, Shannon, Deb, Kris, Laurie, Laurel, Sam, Michelle, Lorraine and Amy.

I love Miller because he makes me laugh. He’s the reason I came here.

I love hammerbach for giving me a kind SDMB welcome.

I love Q.E.D. for being polite, helpful, and all-around decent.

I love Eve for having class and style.

I love Zappo because he is loved so much here.

I love Guinistasia for having guts.

I love Polycarp for making me proud to be a Christian.

I love Lynn for being a Mod with a sense of humor.

And I love CrunchyFrog for being a nice guy from St. Louis, and for wanting to see me naked. :wink:

And despite my sig, my love is neither musty nor hurtful nor bad.

Ok, I’ll be honest, we can’t possibly have a love-in for all 33,000 members all at once. The boards would crash, and this would be the most popular thread ever. That’s probably not going to happen.

Seriously though, Eutychus, who do you love, man? It really isn’t just an SDMB thing anyway. It’s literally for everybody. Everybody who loves somebody.
I’d like to say that I didn’t start this thread really to include people in someone’s love list from the SDMB, but for people to say who else they love. This is for all the mothers. brothers, friends, girls they left behind.
And let’s be honest, if you’re not in the room giving somebody some love, you’re not in the room, know what I mean?
Oh, and he’s a lier, a cheat, and a dirty rotten drunk but I love my uncle Bob.
It’s about showing love, not getting love. If you show some love, you’ll get a lot more of it back.
