My cat. He’s really cool. A lot like Jesus in many ways.
10-S Ct?
Whoever named that street needed to borrow another apostrophe from somewhere…unless Joe mad more than one mother…
That one took me a second.![]()
The energy required to insert the missing apostrophe was superfluously dispersed into eleventy billion Facebook posts.
I just hope that Joe’s Ma wasn’t around to see that prominent Dead End sign.
I loved it although that whole George Carlin routine flashed through my brain.
Or the slightly more cryptic “Ssssssssss Court”
Perhaps Deball Señor Court
Fake Street.
Not sure I want to let you get away with that one.
One road named after my dog - Copper Lane
And Mywayorthe Highway
Too many good jokes here, but I want to stay out of trouble.
I would like to name a street for my maternal grandparents, the surname. It would also be the maiden name of my mother.
Seeing the ‘Dead End’ sign reminded me of a better juxtaposition involving such a sign.
Back when I lived down there, I always grinned when I saw that sign combo.
There’s a road I’ve passed by called Old Dump Road. I’ve never found New Dump Road, though. Apparently there’s an Old Dump Road in each of at least 5 NH towns…I’m beginning to understand why so many town in this part of the state had to rename duplicate roads (duplicates within the same town, mind you) a few years back so they’d be easier for emergency services to find - such lack of imagination!
Anyway, I’d name a road either Scully Way or Crocker Cove, though the people they’d be named for are fictional.
I would name it after the cat that’s purring contentedly nest to me right now: Dragonlord Lane. Because how cool would it be to live on Dragonlord Lane?
Helena after my aunt who passed away almost 10 years ago.
For the country road that meanders, Robin Hood’s Barn Lane
Simon Boulevard
Mr. Celtic Knot suggested a development in which all streets are named for rock and roll songs. There’s probably one already that I don’t know about.
Abbey Rd., Penny Ln., Baker St., Long Valley Rd., Copperhead Rd., Take Me Home Country Rd., Every Day is a Winding Rd., and Old Town Rd. off the top of our heads. Carefree Highway is taken; it’s in Phoenix.
Let me add

And yes: I have been drinking. ![]()
I just encountered a beautifully named street:
Martyr’s Lane
I wonder if the pun occurred to the person who chose that.
