This thread has nothing to do with who you like or who you will be voting for. It just has to do with who do you think will win. I really don’t know. It is so close. I thought Bush was a shoe in at the first of the campaign then Gore caught up. Then they have alternated lead positions throughout this thing.
So who do you think will win? And Why?
BTW I am sorry if I didn’t respond to any post that were directed to me over the past few days. I am back at work after a surgery to remove that devil kidney stone that has been in me since Labor Day.
Man, I thought I was going to die with pain when I woke up from the anethesia. I asked them if they would just kill me(it felt like they cutt off my special purpose  I even looked down under the sheet to make sure it was still there). They finally gave me some morphine and that helped a little. So from friday on I have been laying in bed and taking two hydrocodones every two hours just to deal with the pain. Advice to everyone(even Esprix) please drink at least two quarts of water a day to prevent this from happening to you. It HURTS BAD REAL BAD!!!
For the very fact that people are voting Nader rather then Gore. http://avclub.theonion.com/savage.html
But I don’t care either way.
If Gore wins, great! We get to keep a few rights I happen to care about.
If Bush wins, great! I’ve mostly convinced Janelle to move with me to Canada or the E.U.
After watching the debate last night, I believe Al Gore will spontaneously combust (plastic will be flying EVERYwhere!), allowing Bush to win by a 60/40 margin.
Gore, by a paper-thin margin. This could be one of those rare elections where the victor actually loses the overall popular vote but still carries enough states to win in the Electoral College.
Huh. Well, how ‘bout that. Guess you and I were watching different debates last night, Lisa. I was kinda wondering why our presidential candidates were animated cows who spoke only Japanese and shot magical beams of destruction out of their foreheads. Was I on the wrong channel? Damn! And I was so gonna vote for the pink one!
…seems to me that, when it comes down to it, most people will vote their pocketbooks. Things are now going relatively well for a great many people, and I doubt that people will want to take a risk on the devil they DON’T know. (I pray to gawd, anyway.)
How many socialists have actually been in the White House? Could it be that you don’t understand what socialism actually is? This message board is stuffed full of useful information. I’m sure you could learn all about communism, socialism, and democracy by reading just a few select threads over in Great Debates before posting asinine comments again.
I believe Bush will win. After he wins, he will say, “Read my lips, no new taxes” and then we will have another recession, similiar to the one of the early 90’s. The recession will partly be due to his new economy called “Bushonomics” that will resemble Reaganomics. We will actually have a fully functional Star Wars program that will burn most of the Eastern Seaboard. After his first term is up, we will have a democrat president in 2005.
Oh man, I should really stop hitting my head against the wall when I’m bored. Grr.
I think that Gore has blown it by being to unloveable in the debates, but also trying too hard not to throw the first punch.
This time, despite all our earlier protests for tough-talking, I think the soft campaign will backfire and we’ll get Bush, which would be a big mistake.
