If she decline and Emmy nod for a show she’s currently on, and call your first break-out movie hit “sexist”, (I DON’T see that at ALL, her character had it MUCH more together then the male lead in “Knocked-Up”, not that I even liked the movie); people aren’t going to hire her, because they’ll be afraid she’s going to bite the hand that feeds her.
About her long days; I have no basis on wether this is true… but little of me thinks it’s probably PART because of her being difficult on the set. And I’m sure she get a lot of time off where she can travel and do crap that I, or any regular Joe or Jane, could only dream of doing.
And I’m sorry, but if “Knocked Up” was so sexist, what’s she doing in a movie that relies so heavily on gender stereotypes, (The Ugly Truth, which looks like it Suuuucks)? If YOU like her, that’s fine. But I’m sure there are a lot of out-of-work actors that would KILL to have her job. Defends best friends from homophobic attacks is fine… but was the tool that blurted them out really worth her constantly bringing her soap box wherever she goes? Something tells me it’s more about her than the homophobic attacks.
NOW, I only know what I’ve read. Maybe people, (seemingly everyone), is making a big deal out of nothing. Like, I don’t care that she smokes. But from all that I’ve GATHARD, I’m willing to bet she’s a difficult actor. I also don’t like the emphasis put on her being a woman actor. If this were a guy, I would feel the same way. I don’t know why that would make a difference.
Bill Maher. He’s an ugly, smug, unfunny, condescending, smarmy, astoundingly ignorant little shitstain. And for some reason he’s getting an award named after Richard Dawkins despite being an anti-vaccine nut who publicly claims that germ theory is wrong.
And my sister-in-law, for being one of those morons, no matter how much research I show her on it.
And my brother. Twice. For not standing up to his wife because they’re his kids too!!! And also for not believing me that the piece of paper he signed with daycare saying he was opposed to all medicine for religious reasons was a really BAD idea.
If it wasn’t for the Jenny McCarthy hate, I would still think all the vaccination shit was real. It was actually in another thread I visited, (although I know I would have come to learn about it if I had a kid). I’ve been presented the ‘information’ as if it were fact on TV for a while now, (just random stuff with no counter-points). I figured it was something that had foundation. People say I question everything, but I missed this until I was reading about it here about a month ago.
It’s not like I’m a doctor, so I’m not being hard on myself. It’s just weird how ‘viral’ bad information can get.
nancy pelosi
harry reid
al gore
bill clinton and that thing he calls a wife
jenna jameson (for getting that ridiculous plastic surgery or whatever the fuck it was)

tim robbins and that skank he calls a partner
ah hell, any pissyfied pussified bleeding heart tree hugging liberal that wants to steal money form hard working Americans and give it to worthless pieces of crap who sit on their ass all day with their hand out.
I was not going to come back to this thread and perhaps I should not have but I want to clarify a few things.
1- I am not a fan of Katherine Heigl nor have I ever watched Grey’s Anatomy, well, correction: I saw one episode, the one where Kyle Chandler went boom.
I am not a fan of Katherine Heigl, I have never seen any of her films, I do not seek her out when I pick movies to watch. In short, I don’t think I cou;d pick her out of a line up.
I feel I am forced to defend her, though, from what I have read about her.She is fiercely loyal, from what I hear. She doesn’t take herself too seriously, from what I hear. She thinks her material should rise to the level of Emmy worship, from what I hear.
This all comes back to Debra Winger proportions to me. Deb was called difficult, she was a bitch, Oh, that Debra Winger was just evil, man. Why? Because she was a perfectionist. God damn if some take wasn’t right, she wanted to do it again. Let’s get it right. Let’s make it real. Yeah.
Let me tell you, the whole time I read about how “difficult” Ms Winger was the same was true for Mr. DeNiro or Mr. Pacino but they were deemed “perfectiionists” or hard charging actors. They get no names like “bossy bitches” or “HollyWhores”. Pardon me if I come to the defense of a strong woman IN Hollywood, I wish there were more like her.
That’s fine. Actually *I did *like her when I first noticed her. As I’ve said, I think it’s silly how some people seem to be going out of their way to reference her gender.
I guess we’ll agree to disagree on the bottom line though.
Britney Spears, for that stupid song that butchers the proper pronunciation of the word ‘‘radar.’’ When she completely lost her mind, I felt for her, really… but there’s no excuse for that song.
